Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Director and working closely with headquarters and country office staff, the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will form an integral part of our headquarters staff. This position will ensure the organization’s monitoring and evaluation protocols and tools are maintained at a professional level and are consistent with the expectations of our funders. He/she supports the organization's day-to-day monitoring and evaluation efforts and management of the organization’s programs and projects by supporting the deployment and maintenance of robust and sound M&E systems, databases and tools and ensuring they are functioning appropriately. Support the conduct of research and best practice in M&E field and contribute to learning activities within the organization.


Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Monitoring and Evaluation, social sciences, economics, public health, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience of Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the context of international development or humanitarian assistance.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R) and qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, MAX DQA, Dedoose).
  • Experience programming tools in Survey CTO to maximize its use for CorpsAfrica’s monitoring and evaluation data collection systems.
  • Proficient in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including developing indicators, data collection tools, and data management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment, with demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Ability to travel internationally to project sites as needed.
  • A strong commitment to the mission of CorpsAfrica is required, with a desire to support youth leadership, participatory community development, impact evaluation, transparency, and accountability.
